Ist HANA Resident Memory, das Memory was von HANA beim starten bis zum Allocation Limit reserviert wird und wird nicht mehr an das OS freigegeben ?

resident memory = applikation HANA TenantDB
total resident = HANA System + OS + other Programs
HANA gibt grundsätzlich keinen RAM einfach so frei. HANA krallt sich 100% von dem was möglich ist, begrenzt du es nicht über allocation limit, dann zieht es dir deinen gesamten RAM deiner Maschine.
begrenzt wird das durch deinen physischen Memory auf deiner VM / LPAR oder sonst was.
