we have a product X in plant A on stock. This stock is enough to cover 6 months of sales orders (MRP does not generate new POs), and then this product X will be further on produced in another plant B and delivered from this new plant B.

I do not know how to figure out a smooth forecasts transfer / primary needs transfer in order to see, after the stock consumption of product X in plant A, the first POs in plant B (according to primary or even to the secondary needs).

Working on the BOM with components from different plant?

Working in MM01/MRP4 and followup Matl? MM01/MRP2 and special procurement?

What would be please the standard SAP flow/customization for such a business type?
