Guten Morgen,

ich habe kürzlich IDES 4.7 auf 2 Rechnern installiert. Beim ersten Rechner gab es keine Probleme, alles lief einwandfrei. Beim zweiten Rechner hab ich das Problem, dass der Dispatcher immer wieder nach wenigen Sekunden stoppt, sobald ich SAP über die SAP Management Konsole starte. Der Message Server läuft allerdings. Firewall hab ich keine laufen, die den Dispatcher blockieren könnte. Ich hab mal sämtliche Datenbank- und SAP-Files beider Rechner verglichen (inkl. Konfigurationsdateien), mir ist aber nichts aufgefallen, was für mich erklären könnte, warum es beim ersten läuft, beim zweiten nicht.

Ich gebe hier kurz die Inhalte der wichtigsten Trace-Files an (dev_disp, dev_ms, dev_w0), vielleicht könnt ihr mir einen Tipp geben. Der Rechner heißt "powerbook", die Datenbank "ORCL" und das SAP-System "DRS":

Hallo Guru,

ja, die Einträge sind in der Services drin. Der Port ist nicht durch ein anderes Programm belegt. Hab extra nochmal geprüft, ob der Loopback-Adapter mit Port 3600 anspricht - sieht gut aus. Aber nach ein paar Sekunden, in denen der Dispatcher läuft, bricht er wieder ab. Manchmal kommt er auch überhaupt nicht hoch. Zuerst kommt die Meldung "Running but not connected to Message Server", anschließend wird daraus "Running but Dialog Queue standstill" und dann "Stopped". Schön langsam verzweifle ich :-(

Hast du noch einen Tipp? Du scheinst echt fit zu sein.

Oracle Listener ebenfalls? Konfig des Listeners ist auch OK (listener.ora, tsnnames etc.)
Was sagt (als <sid>adm) ein:

Der Port 1527 ist schon OK...den nutzt SAP als Standard ;)
Kannst du dich per

an der DB anmelden? Wie sieht's mit der Möglichkeit die DB zu stoppen/zu starten per SQL aus? Geht das?

vielen Dank für diesen weiteren Hinweis!

Ich habe mittlerweile bemerkt, dass eine der Installations-CDs fehlerhaft war und die Daten nicht richtig kopiert wurden. Vermutlich liegt dort der Hund begraben. Ich werde heute einen 4. Installationsversuch mit einem anderen Leselaufwerk versuchen, mit dem es funktionieren sollte. Wäre schön, wenn es nun klappt. Ich werde alles genauso machen und einstellen, wie ich es bisher gemacht habe. Je nachdem, wie und ob es klappt, melde ich mich wieder.

Es hat geklappt, ich fasse es nicht  

Nun startet der Dispatcher einwandfrei, keine Abbrüche mehr. Sieht so aus, als hat es wirklich an einem Lesefehler gelegen, wodurch irgendetwas nicht richtig oder unvollständig installiert wurde. Der Zugriff auf SAP funktioniert einwandfrei, ich konnte mich problemlos anmelden und alles einrichten.
